...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

The theme for this weekend will be increasing winds and critical
fire weather conditions. Winds will become more southerly by
Saturday morning around 10 mph. By afternoon expect gusts to
approach 30 mph, especially in higher elevations. Min RH will drop
into the upper teens by mid afternoon. Gusty south winds will
continue Saturday night with gusts generally around 30 mph and
moderate RH recovery. Strong winds (35-45 mph) will combine with
RHs around 15 percent to create critical fire weather conditions
across the area Sunday. These strong winds are not expected to
diminish until late Sunday evening.
