...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT
FOR CENTRAL MASSAC COUNTY...

At 135 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Brookport, or 7
miles northeast of Metropolis, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Massac County.

This includes Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 34 and
36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for southern
Illinois.
