This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

An isolated strong to severe storm capable of producing damaging
wind gusts and large hail is possible during the late afternoon and
early evening, mainly across the NW Piedmont, including the Triad.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday into Thursday as a
series of disturbances track through the region. Some of these storms
could be strong to severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Hot temperatures and high humidity are expected Wednesday and
Thursday, with readings expected to be 10 to 15 degrees above
normal, leading to an elevated risk of heat-related illnesses.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday into Thursday as a
series of disturbances track through the region. Some of these
storms could be strong to severe.
