Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
High pressure northeast of the area will weaken today. A low will
develop north of the islands Friday, and linger through the
weekend. A front associated with the low will move down the
island chain Friday through Saturday, with the front stalling
near the Big Island Sunday and Monday.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR MAALAEA BAY...THE PAILOLO AND
ALENUIHAHA CHANNELS AND WATERS SOUTH OF THE BIG ISLAND...

.REST OF TODAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to
6 feet. Northwest swell 3 feet. Scattered showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to 6 feet.
Northwest swell 5 feet. Scattered showers.
.FRIDAY...South to southeast winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming north
15 knots on Kauai late in the day. Wind waves 3 to 5 feet.
Northwest swell 6 feet. Hazy. Scattered showers.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northwest to north winds 15 to 20 knots Kauai and
Oahu waters. Variable winds 10 to 15 knots elsewhere. Wind waves
4 to 7 feet. Northwest swell 3 to 6 feet. Hazy. Scattered
showers.
.SATURDAY...Northwest to north winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3
to 6 feet. Northwest swell 7 to 9 feet. Scattered showers.
.SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind
waves 3 to 5 feet. North swell 9 to 14 feet, decreasing to 8 to
10 feet Monday. Showers likely near the Big Island. Isolated
showers elsewhere.
