...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR
NORTHERN BRADLEY...SOUTHWESTERN MEIGS...NORTHWESTERN POLK...SOUTHERN
MCMINN AND NORTHEASTERN HAMILTON COUNTIES...

At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms in the advisory area were decreasing but light to
moderate rain was still occurring over part of the area. This will
cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Over 2 inches of rain is
estimated to have already fallen in the past 2 hours.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cleveland, Etowah, Charleston, Calhoun, Hopewell, Birchwood, Hiwassee
Ocoee State Park, Dentville and Sale Creek.

Additional rainfall of one half inch is possible in the next hour
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
