...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN HOKE COUNTY...

At 510 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain has caused
water to pond extensively on Pine Cone Road and Prospect Road in
southern Hoke County. While the heavy rain has drifted away from the
southern part of the county, it will take 30 to 60 minutes for the
water to recede. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. This
will cause small stream flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Raeford, Antioch, Rockfish and Bowmore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
