Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
218 PM CDT Tue May 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are in the forecast every day
through the next 5 to 7 days. The nights should be mostly dry
after sunset and pick back up late in the morning hours each day.
A widespread wetting rainfall is not expected but isolated areas
under thunderstorms could record a good amount of rainfall due to
the very slow movement of the storms. A few storms could be
strong, with gusty winds and small hail. Winds at the surface and
at 20ft will remain light and variable, if anything, light out of
the south-southeast. With the continued rain, minimum RH values
will remain over 50 percent. Patchy fog will be possible every
night in areas that receive rainfall.

Red Flag conditions are not expected.
