...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

INCREASINGLY BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION BY
FRIDAY AFTERNOON WITH POTENTIALLY ENHANCED FIRE DANGER ACROSS PARTS
OF NORTHWEST ARIZONA OVER THE WEEKEND. THIS ENHANCED FIRE RISK IS
DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND DRY FUELS. COOLING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
NEXT WEEK WITH AT LEAST SLIGHT CHANCES FOR SHOWERS, RESULTING IN
IMPROVING FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE WEST COAST WILL MOVE SLOWLY INLAND
DURING THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL BRING STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW TO
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WITH SLOW COOLING SPREADING INLAND AND GUSTY
SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS IN THE
AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS. SLOW DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER WILL
SPREAD HIGHER COASTAL HUMIDITIES INLAND. FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY...A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTHWEST WILL BRING MORE
COOLING...STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW WILL STRONGER AND GUSTY NORTHWEST TO
WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS...AND DEEPENING OF THE
MARINE LAYER ONTO THE COASTAL MOUNTAIN SLOPES WITH SMALL CHANCES
FOR LIGHT PRECIPITATION ALONG AND WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL PERSIST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WITH A
MARGINAL INCREASE IN MOISTURE. THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF GILA COUNTY
HAS A VERY SLIGHT RISK FOR AN AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORM
THOUGH RAINFALL IS UNLIKELY. OTHERWISE, MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL REMAIN IN A 10-15 PERCENT RANGE WITH FAIR OVERNIGHT
RECOVERY. SOME BREEZY SOUTHEAST WINDS MAY AFFECT THE EASTERN
DISTRICTS FRIDAY MORNING, THEN AGAIN SATURDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS ALL
DISTRICTS.
