...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT GLOUCESTER...
SOUTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX...CENTRAL YORK...MATHEWS...AND CENTRAL JAMES
CITY COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF WILLIAMSBURG...

At 1238 AM EDT, thunderstorms with heavy rain were located along a
line extending from near Gloucester Courthouse to Queens Lake.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Williamsburg, Mathews, Gloucester Courthouse, Queens Lake, Virginia
Institute For Marine Sciences, Gloucester Point, Seaford, College Of
William And Mary, Hayes, Gwynn, Wicomico, Achilles, Bavon, York
Terrace, Blakes, Mobjack, Lackey, Beulah, Moon and Laban.

Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of these storms.
Be prepared for rapid changes in weather and road conditions. Heavy
rain could cause ponding of water on roads...and possible minor
flooding of ditches and poor drainage areas.
