...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EMMET...POCAHONTAS...NORTHWESTERN
CALHOUN AND PALO ALTO COUNTIES THROUGH 600 AM CDT...

At 510 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fostoria to 6 miles
west of South Twin Lake. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail and additional
         rainfall up to one inch.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Ponding of water on roadways, low visibilities,
         and rises in small streams and creeks.

Estherville, Emmetsburg, Pocahontas, Laurens, Swan Lake, Five Island
Lake, Ingham Lake, High Lake, Lost Island Lake, Silver Lake, Rush
Lake, Graettinger, West Bend, Ruthven, Fonda, Rolfe, Mallard,
Wallingford, Ayrshire, and Havelock.
