This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the Islands of Cameron,
Willacy, and Kenedy until 1 PM CDT. Narrow beaches may become
impassable in spots this morning before waters receded some later
this afternoon.

There is a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach.

There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather tonight across all of
Deep South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley, with the main threats
being damaging wind gusts and large hail. There is also a Marginal
Risk of excessive rainfall for the Rio Grande Plains, western
Brush Country, and Upper Rio Grande Valley tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Minor coastal flooding is possible again Sunday morning.

There is a Marginal Risk of excessive rainfall for the Rio Grande
Valley and Deep South Texas the next several days. Locally heavy
rainfall is possible each afternoon and evening through Tuesday
and could lead to nuisance flooding.

There is a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach Sunday. An elevated risk of
rip currents is possible into early next week.
