...Icy Roadways This Morning...

Roadways remain wet early this morning across the DC and
Baltimore metro areas, as well as most of north-central to
northeast Maryland, southern Maryland, and central Virginia.
Temperatures have fallen to near or just below freezing.

Black ice has likely developed in many areas. Use caution and
reduce speed if driving this morning. Surfaces that appear wet may
actually be icy, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges
and overpasses. Temperatures will rise above freezing by 9 am for
most areas.

...Icy Roadways This Morning...

Black ice has likely developed in many areas in addition to any
snow covered surfaces across western Maryland, eastern West
Virginia, the northern Shenandoah Valley, and portions of the
Potomac Highlands. Use caution and reduce speed if driving this
morning. Surfaces that appear wet may actually be icy, especially
on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
