.DISCUSSION...

Strong gusty southerly wind up to 40 mph will continue through
Wednesday morning. RH values will be elevated along with wet ground
conditions, so Red Flag Criteria is not a concern.  Rain will enter
Middle Tennessee from the west late tonight and Wednesday morning,
spreading eastward throughout the day. By 00z, some transition from
rain to snow is expected to be happening. Rainfall amounts around 1
inch are forecast to be common, with snowfall totals of less than an
one half inch expected. Cold weather will set in for the remainder of
the work week.
