Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth...UPDATED
National Weather Service Memphis TN
1001 PM CDT Tue Sep 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...
More showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight tonight and
into Wednesday as a cold front moves across the region. The front
will stall across central Mississippi and northern Alabama, which
will keep scattered showers in the forecast through the end of
the work week. Another one to two inches of rain will be possible
through Thursday evening, especially over north Mississippi. Rain
chances should diminish slightly heading into the weekend as high
pressure begins to build over the region. Otherwise, northerly
winds behind Wednesday`s cold front will bring much cooler air
into the region. Daytime highs on Wednesday and Thursday should
remain in the 70s across the entire area.
