This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

HEAVY RAIN and FLASH FLOOD..
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Southeast Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
A complex of showers and thunderstorms is ongoing from southeast
Oklahoma into west central Arkansas early this morning. Locally
heavy rainfall and a marginal risk for hail up to quarter size
will continue to be possible with these storms early today.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely to redevelop across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this afternoon. Any storm that
develops will have the potential to become severe, with large
hail and damaging winds being the main severe weather threats.
Locally heavy rainfall may result in some flooding concerns,
mainly from southeast Oklahoma into west central Arkansas.

Activation of the Regional Spotter Network Likely.

FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SATURDAY...Severe Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Widely scattered thunderstorms may develop Friday afternoon and
evening from southeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas along a
cold front. Some severe weather threat will accompany these
storms.

The greatest severe weather threat over the next week will come
late Saturday afternoon and especially Saturday evening. All
severe weather hazards will be possible with storms Saturday
evening.

Thunderstorm chances will diminish Sunday into next week, but
periodic low storm chances will exist at times.
