The overall best chance for isolated thunderstorm development will be over the San Juan mountains. Late this afternoon and evening, isolated storms will push off the higher terrain and onto the I-25 corridor. As these storms move east, they will encounter a bit more unstable air, and continue to push east into the far eastern plains. Some of the storms may last well into the late night hours. Main threat from any storms that do develop will be 45-50 mph wind gusts, small hail up to half inch in diameter and brief periods of moderate to heavy rain. All storms will produce occasional cloud to ground lightning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Increasing coverage and intensity of afternoon and evening thunderstorms is expected across eastern Colorado through the end of the work week. Strong to severe storms may be possible, with some of the strongest storms producing large hail and damaging wind gusts. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
