This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the Atlantic beaches. Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms will continue into this evening. The strongest thunderstorms could contain heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. Flooding: Heavy downpours from slow moving showers and thunderstorms could create the potential for localized flooding in urban and poor drainage areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day through most of the week. Primary impacts will be heavy rainfall, lightning strikes, and gusty winds. An elevated risk of rip currents may persist through the middle of the week along the Atlantic Coast beaches. Heat indices could rise into the triple digits during the latter half of the week and into the upcoming weekend across most areas. Peak heat indices of 105 degrees or higher could be possible in some interior locations during this time frame. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
