Tropical Storm Helene continues to quickly exit into the Appalachians of the western Carolinas and eastern Tennessee. Lingering showers in Georgia have largely ended. Significant river flooding is ongoing in much of Georgia, and additional river flooding is expected. Breezy conditions will remain through the day, but the threat for significant damaging gusts has ended.
