Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon into the early evening. Some of these storms could be
severe and there is a marginal or level 1 out of 5 risk of severe
thunderstorms across the entire area. The primary risks are
damaging winds and lightning with a secondary risk of hail.

Portions of the Wapsipinicon, Cedar, Skunk, Iowa , and Mississippi
Rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest Flood
Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Cedar Bluff.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land is
  flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river has crested.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 10.6 feet Monday,
    June 03.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Multiple village and
  township roads are closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river will begin rising again later
    today.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.7
    feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.5 feet.
