  - Recent Activity...The river is near crest.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Sunday evening.

central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into the mid
evening. Some could be strong and even severe, especially along
and east of the Mississippi River. Hail to the size of quarters
and 60 MPH winds are possible in the strongest storms.

Portions of the Wapsipinicon, Cedar, Skunk, Iowa , and Mississippi
Rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest Flood
