Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk near the lake and south of I-80.
  High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Strong northeast winds are expected this afternoon and evening.
The strongest winds will be south of I-80, where gusts up to 55
mph are possible.

Building waves on southern Lake Michigan this morning will result
in dangerous conditions along the shoreline.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday and Sunday...
  High Swim Risk Lake Michigan Beaches.


DISCUSSION...

Large and battering waves will continue to result in dangerous
conditions along the Lake Michigan shoreline through Sunday.
