This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

The remnants of Helene will impact our region through the weekend,
most notably today and tonight. Widespread moderate rainfall with
possible minor flooding and strong gusty winds as high as 50 to 60
mph will be possible this afternoon.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana and east central, north
  central, and south central Kentucky.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT /1 AM CDT/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few additional power outages may
  result.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following area, Perry
  and Kentucky, including the following areas, Allen, Anderson,
  Barren, Boyle, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Edmonson, Fayette,
  Grayson, Green, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Jessamine, Larue, Logan,
  Marion, Meade, Mercer, Metcalfe, Monroe, Nelson, Ohio, Simpson,
  Spencer, Taylor, Warren, Washington KY and Woodford.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
  flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Ongoing rain shield likely will stall as Tropical Depression
    Helene merges with an upper level disturbance across central
    Kentucky. Rain rates will not be as high as earlier, but
    steady moderate amounts could cause some localized flooding.
