Widely scattered storms today could produce brief heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning, as well as locally gusty winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Periods of thunderstorms are expected through Monday. Severe storms Sunday into Sunday night could produce damaging winds with localized hurricane-force gusts. Large hail, tornadoes, and localized flooding are also possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will likely be needed Sunday afternoon and evening. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Thunderstorms today will move to the east around 20 mph.
