This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...Tonight. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 PM CDT this evening. Widespread showers and thunderstorms expected today across the ArkLaTex late this afternoon into the evening hours. Some storms could be severe. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats, but tornadoes cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Some storms may be severe on Friday with locally heavy rain, damaging winds, large hail, and possibly an isolated tornado threat. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Excessive, heavy rainfall will continue across the Flood Watch area through Friday and Friday evening with 1 to 3 inches of additional rainfall possible with isolated higher amounts.
