Can`t rule out some isolated thunderstorms this afternoon, especially near the Interstate 20 corridor. Otherwise, expect above normal temperatures, with highs in the low to mid 90s. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will return to the region on Tuesday. Some of the storms could be strong to severe, with some excessive rainfall leading to localized flash flooding. Beyond Tuesday, periods of showers and thunderstorms may be possible each afternoon and evening through the workweek into next weekend.
