There is a 30 to 50 percent chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening, mainly along and west of the Interstate 49 corridor. Gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move through the area Friday into Saturday. Given the forecasted extended duration of rainfall and already-elevated streamflows, flooding will be possible.
