This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog will be possible tonight which may limit visibility
to a mile or less.

Low chances for a few thunderstorms that move into western
Missouri and southeast Kansas towards sunrise Sunday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Daily thunderstorm chances continue Sunday into the middle of
next week. A few storms may be strong to marginally severe on
Monday.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Gasconade River at Hazelgreen affecting Laclede County.

  Gasconade River at Jerome affecting Phelps County.

For the Gasconade River...including Jerome, Hazelgreen...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued Sunday afternoon at 545 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING TO MONDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Gasconade River at Hazelgreen.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, minor flooding begins at the gage site and
  mainly affects low lying areas along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 21.6 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.6 feet on 06/18/1942.
