Locally heavy rainfall totals of 3 to 4 inches may pose a risk for flash flooding, especially for areas east of Highway 65. Fog is expected to develop tonight into Saturday morning and may become dense mainly along and west of Highway 65. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. At 452 AM CDT, Local law enforcement and the department of transportation reported several flooded low water crossings due to heavy rainfall. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring, especially across the Gasconade River and Roubidoux Creek headwaters areas. The Roubidoux Creek in Texas County has reached Moderate flood stage. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Western Fort Leonard Wood, Seymour, Diggins, Huggins, Plato, Manes, Competition, Lynchburg, Falcon, Roby, Odin, Success and Hazelton. This includes the following low water crossings...
