...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Black River at Poplar Bluff affecting Butler County.
.After this weekend`s heavy rain and subsequent flooding, the Black
River continues to fall. The river at Poplar Bluff should fall
below flood stage later this morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Black River at Poplar Bluff.
* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas. If the water
continues to rise, Hillcrest Park will be affected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling to 3.3 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
