This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska and southeast South
Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop along a cold front pushing
east across the region this afternoon. Isolated strong to severe
storms are possible, with the primary hazard of large hail up to half
dollar size. Isolated wind gusts to 60 mph and brief heavy rain are
secondary hazards. Storms are expected to push east of Highway 71
(Windom to Spencer Iowa to Storm Lake) by around 7 pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Increasing northwest winds are expected on Wednesday, especially near
and north of Interstate 90. Gusts of 40 to 45 mph are expected, with
brief gusts in excess 50 mph possible.
