This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Monday

A line of strong to severe storms is expected to move across the
area tonight from around 11 PM through 3 AM. Damaging winds and
localized flooding will be the primary threats, but brief
tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Additional storms are expected Monday. Severe weather isn`t
likely, but some localized flooding is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday

Tuesday afternoon and evening brings a high chance of
thunderstorms and some may become severe.

The combination of recent heavy rainfall and repeated rounds of
thunderstorms through Tuesday will lead to a continuing flooding
threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Storm spotter activation may be needed at times through tonight.

Flood Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...

  Maple Creek Near Nickerson affecting Dodge County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Maple Creek near Nickerson.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water will begin to overflow Nickerson
  Road just north of Nickerson. In addition, water begins to
  overflow in between two bridges located 0.5 mile and 0.75 mile
  north of the main channel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.3 feet...or 0.2 feet
    below flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 11.8 feet
    just after midnight tonight. It will then fall to 9.9 feet
    early tomorrow afternoon and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 11.5 feet.
