This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across western Puerto
Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to
take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across western Puerto Rico. Urban and small streams
flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution mainly across
the Mona Passage.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly in southwestern Puerto Rico and Vieques.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A tropical wave is expected to reach the local islands by late
Sunday into Monday, increasing moisture and the potential for
urban and small stream flooding. A wet and unstable weather
pattern is forecast through midweek as a broad trough west of the
area and deep tropical moisture pools over the region under
southerly winds.
