Hot and humid conditions this afternoon will result in heat index values near or over 105 across much of the area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will persist Tuesday through the end of the work week. Severe weather will be possible at times.
