Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move across the region this morning, mainly south of I-20. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and localized areas of 60 mph wind gusts will be possible until about 10 AM. A few storms in Central Texas my also contain small hail and heavy rainfall. Hot and humid weather will result in heat index values of 105-109 across eastern Central Texas today and tomorrow. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. After a brief break from storms during the latter half of the holiday weekend, storm chances may return as early as Monday evening and continue daily through the end of the week.
