A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon for the Davis Mountains and through the Stockton Plateau, and southward to the Rio Grande. Near-critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon across the Guadalupe Mountains and adjacent plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. There is a low risk of severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening, mainly along and east of the Pecos. The main threats with any storms will be large hail and damaging winds. Hazardous heat is possible each afternoon through this weekend, mainly along the Rio Grande.
