  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60
  NM...
  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 250 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Rollover Pass to Bastrop Bay to 9 nm northwest
  of Surfside Jetty to 20 nm north of East Matagorda Bay, moving
  south at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

  Galveston 282, High Island 157, High Island A131, Galveston

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Brazoria, Galveston and Harris.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 246 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Southeastern Pasadena, Pearland, League City, Galveston
    Causeway, Galveston Island West End, Texas City, Friendswood,
    La Porte, Alvin, Dickinson, La Marque, Santa Fe, Seabrook,
    Webster, Hitchcock, northeastern Manvel, Kemah, Clear Lake,
    South Belt / Ellington and Galveston Pier 21.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 242 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Bayou Vista to 7 miles west of Jamaica Beach to near
  Angleton, moving south at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Galveston Island West End, Galveston Causeway, Texas City, La
  Marque, Santa Fe, Hitchcock, Surfside Beach, Danbury, Bayou Vista,
  Oyster Creek, Jamaica Beach, Tiki Island, Liverpool, Galveston
