This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers with embedded thunderstorms will increase across the
northern and central portions of the area late this afternoon,
mostly focused on this evening as a cold front and storm system
moves through. Gusty outflow winds are likely with shower activity
with best potential for wetting rain over the northern mountains.
Some activity may linger overnight across the north.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Drier conditions expected Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure
builds in with isolated storms possible over the high terrain.
Well above normal temperatures expected Thursday through Saturday
with near record heat possible. Shower and thunderstorm coverage
increases Friday into the weekend, especially over the high
terrain as moisture increases from the south.
