Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Heat...Heat index 108-111 degrees expected across St. Croix. Heat exhaustion likely with prolonged exposure. Heat stroke possible. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone particularly in St. Croix .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Hot and muggy conditions will persist for the next several days. Scattered to isolated showers will affect the local islands, mainly during the morning hours each day.
