Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and move through the area. There is a Marginal risk for severe storms across northern and far eastern portions of the area, with the main threat being damaging wind. Strong downdrafts and outflows will be likely (70%) with any storms that develop. Warm temperatures will lead to increasing snowmelt with river flooding the only concern. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
