Warming temperatures and dry conditions will lead to increasing snowmelt through midweek with river flooding the only concern. Wednesday...Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and move through the area. There is a Marginal risk for severe storms in extreme eastern Johnson County, with the main threats being damaging wind and large hail. Strong downdrafts and outflows will be possible (50%) with any storms that develop.
