A Heat Advisory will be warranted in these locations. Heat safety must be practiced, especially during the heating of the day. It is recommended when possible to postpone activities to not coincide with the hottest portion of the day. Additionally, if you must be outdoors in the heating of the day, it`s vital to remember to wear loose fitting/lightly colored clothing, stay hydrated, and take multiple breaks out of the direct exposure of the heat (preferably indoors with air conditioning). .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Hot temperatures and elevated heat index values will continue into Sunday and persist through most of next week. It is recommended when possible to postpone activities to not coincide with the hottest portion of the day.
