The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Coconino County in north central Arizona...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 630 AM MST.

* At 329 AM MST, National Weather Service Flagstaff doppler radar
  indicated a cluster of thunderstorms producing heavy rain from
  Clarkdale northward into Sycamore Canyon. Flash flooding is ongoing
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
           underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cottonwood Airport, Parsons Spring, Palatki
  Heritage Site, Sycamore Canyon, Honanki Heritage Site, Secret
  Mountain Vista, Sycamore Point, Jerome, Dead Horse Ranch State
  Park, Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, Sycamore Canyon
  Wilderness and Tuzigoot National Monument.

This includes State Route 89A between mile markers 347 and 352.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Taylor Cabin Line Camp, Red-Tail Hawk Loop Campground, Quail Loop
Campground, Raven Loop Campground, Blackhawk Loop Campground and
Cooper`s Hawk Loop Campground.

This includes the following swimming holes...
Parsons Spring.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Dry Creek, Sycamore Creek, Spring Creek, Blowout Creek, Tule Tank
  Wash, Verde River, Oak Wash, Railroad Draw, Oak Creek, Bitter Creek
  and Coffee Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The Pocket Fire in...
  Coconino County in north central Arizona...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 530 AM MST.

* At 236 AM MST, National Weather Service Flagstaff doppler radar
  indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Pocket Fire.
  Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive
  rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving
  through the West Fork of Oak Creek and Dry Creek north of Sedona.
  The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other
  loose materials.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
           flash flooding in and around the Pocket Fire.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
           Pocket Fire.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Edge of the World, Fernow Cabin, East Pocket Lookout Tower and Red
  Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  West Fork Oak Creek, Dry Creek and Oak Creek near West Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches
in the Pocket Fire. Severe debris flows can also be anticipated
across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If
you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
