...GUSTY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT...

.Advisory level wind gusts will develop over many areas this
afternoon in the wake of a weak cold front. The mountain areas
will see wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph while the coastal areas
will experience gusts between 30 and 40 mph.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WINDS AND TIMING...Westerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts from
  between 35 and 50 mph will develop this afternoon. Strongest
  west of Goleta. This evening into tonight, wind will transition
  to come from the north while remaining gusty with the strongest
  winds in the foothills.

* IMPACTS...Cross winds can make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles and vehicles towing
  trailers. This includes Highways 101, 154 and 192...as well as
  the Gaviota and San Marcos Passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.
