...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM WEDNESDAY
TO 11 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Beach Hazards Statement, dangerous rip currents
expected. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal
  flooding expected.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
  Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, from this afternoon
through Friday evening. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 6
AM Wednesday to 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected. Minor coastal erosion is also
expected. Additionally, elevated surf will lead to strong rip
  currents.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated surf of 3-5 feet, with sets to 6
feet, on south- and southwest-facing beaches. High tides are
expected to peak between 6.5 and 7.0 feet during the mornings
  and evenings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A beach hazards statement for elevated surf means that waves will
be high enough to cause danger to inexperienced swimmers in the
water. Elevated surf also frequently results in strong rip
currents which can drag people away from the shore and possibly
result in drowning. Always swim near a lifeguard.

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that tides and elevated surf
will combine to generate localized flooding of low areas along the
shore.
