...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of southwest California...including the following...
  Orange County ...Coastal Areas...Orange County Inland Areas...
  Riverside County Mountains...San Bernardino County Mountains...
  San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire
  and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* Through Thursday afternoon.

* Light precipitation will fall today, then even higher rainfall
  amounts are possible tonight through Thursday, especially on the
  south and southwest facing mountain slopes. Rainfall rates of
  one-half to one inch in one hour are possible tonight through
  Thursday.

* There is the potential of mud slides and debris flows at
  recent burn scars, particularly near the Holy Fire burn scar.
  Debris flows can happen suddenly with little time to act. Heed
  the advice of local officials. In addition, street flooding is
  possible along with the possibility of some road closures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding.  Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

Debris flows are possible near recent burn scars. Debris flows
can happen suddenly with little time to act. Heed the advice from
local officials.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
