...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
PST WEDNESDAY...

* WINDS...Areas of northwest to north winds 25 to 35 mph with
  gusts to 55 mph. Isolated gusts to 60 mph in favored locations.
  The strongest winds will be focused across the Interstate 5
  Corridor and Highway 33 corridor in the Ventura County
  Mountains. Winds are expected to shift to the northeast late
  Monday night into Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles. This includes Interstate 5 and
  Highway 33. In addition, the gusty winds will bring the
  potential for downed trees and powerlines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

...LOW ELEVATION SNOW EXPECTED NEAR THE GRAPEVINE TONIGHT AND
MONDAY...

.A cold storm system will move into the area later tonight.
Showers with snow down to as low as 3500 feet are expected over
the north facing mountain slopes near the Grapevine and Kern
County line starting after midnight tonight and continuing through
early Monday afternoon at least. In addition, gusty winds up to
55 mph are possible.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO NOON PST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
  are expected down to 3500 feet.

* WHERE...Ventura and Los Angeles County Mountains and Los Angeles
  County Mountains near the Kern County line, including Interstate
  5 over the Grapevine.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to noon PST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions, including
  during the morning commute on Monday. Light snow and ice
  accumulations are possible over Interstate 5 near the Tejon
  Pass. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times along with
  travel delays and possible road closures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
