...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow possible. Plan on difficult travel
  conditions, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.
  Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible, with
  localized amounts up to 14 inches at the highest elevations.

* WHERE...Above 6000 feet.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Thursday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Locally gusty winds are possible at times
  and significant reductions in visibility could result from snow
  and blowing snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch FOR A portion of southwest California...
  including the following...Riverside County Mountains...San
  Bernardino County Mountains...San Diego County Coastal Areas...
  San Diego County Mountains...San Diego County Valleys and Santa
  Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of southwest California...
  including the following...Riverside County Mountains...San
  Bernardino County Mountains...San Diego County Coastal Areas...
  San Diego County Mountains...San Diego County Valleys and Santa
  Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* From Tuesday evening through late Wednesday night.

* The first winter storm of the season will bring widespread
  precipitation to the region.

* Periods of heavy showers and possibly thunderstorms will bring a
  threat of flash flooding and debris flows to steep terrain,
  especially in and below recently burned areas. Flooding of poorly
  drained and urban areas will also be possible, presenting a hazard
  for motorists.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding.  Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take
action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
