...HIGH SURF WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY TO 5 AM
FRIDAY...

* WAVES AND SURF...Breaking waves rapidly building to over 30
feet with the highest surf along west and southwest facing
  beaches.

* TIMING...Early Thursday morning through Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Large breaking waves along the coast will lead to
increased wave run-up on beaches with waves topping and
washing over large rocks and jetties. These large waves can be
erratic and unpredictable. Use extra caution near the surf
zone as these large waves will be capable of sweeping people
into the frigid and turbulent ocean water. Mariners traversing
the bar are urged to exercise extreme caution or stay in port
until the threat subsides. Please contact the U.S. Coast Guard
for information regarding harbor and bar closures. Minor
coastal flooding is possible during the morning high tide on
Thursday between 700 AM and 900 AM, as well as the Friday
morning high tide between 800 AM and 1000 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Warning indicates that dangerous, battering waves
will pound the shoreline resulting in beach erosion. Stay far
back from the surf and do not enter areas flooded by the waves.
