...HIGH SURF THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY...

.A west-northwest swell of 7-9 ft at 15-17 seconds from
290 degrees will build today and peak Sunday morning, bringing
elevated to high surf. The highest surf is expected in southern
San Diego County. Swell and surf will subside on Monday.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON
TO 9 PM PDT SUNDAY...

* Waves and Surf...4 to 7 ft with sets to 8 ft. Local sets to 9
  ft in southern San Diego County.

* Timing...This afternoon through Sunday evening, highest Sunday
  morning.

* Tides...High tide this evening of 5.3 ft around 1150 PM. High
  tide Sunday evening of 5 ft around 1130 PM.

* Impacts...Strong rip currents and risk of drowning with
  dangerous swimming conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing localized beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.
