This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Freeze warnings remain in place this morning through 0900 MDT for
the Central Colorado River Basin and the Central Yampa River Basin.
A chance for isolated thunderstorms and rain showers persists Monday
afternoon on the San Juans. Lightning and gusty outflows will be the
primary hazards of concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms spread north up the Divide Tuesday. Low
pressure crossing the Great Basin will bring additional showers and
thunderstorms to the Uintas and northern mountains of Colorado on
Wednesday. Strong winds will also impact the region on Wednesday,
including critical fire weather conditions, ahead of another frontal
boundary that will send temperatures back down near normal through
the remainder of the week. Additional showers and thunderstorms
continue late this week and into next weekend as models advertise an
active weather pattern.
